BrainSmart Tutoring Services is a black-owned company founded in 2021 by two high school friends, both of Guilford County, NC. They both found themselves in education. With Shabaza Vaird (pictured left) having his start in elementary education and Bethany Melton (pictured right) starting her career as a college tutor, they joined forces and formed what is now known as BrainSmart. We pride ourselves in offering both in-person and virtual tutoring modalities, while accommodating all age groups and grade levels.
